We Need Your Help

Have you always wondered if your legislature worked for you? Now is your time to find out. To get the Industrial Hygienists and Safety Professional Recognition Act passed in the State of Georgia, we may need you to contact your State Representative or Senator. To focus our resources we need to know whom you State Representative and Senator are.

Its fun and easy using the World Wide Web. Just follow these instructions:

  1. Right-click on Project Vote Smart (PVS) to open a link to this site in a new window.
  2. Scroll to the end of the PVS home page and key in your home residence zip code. Add the four-digit extension if you know it and click on the "go" button.
  3. If you don't add the extension the PVS will link you to the US Postal Service web page where you can look up your "zip+4" code from their database.
  4. After finding your full zip code, enter the number and click the "find" button.
  5. You will then be shown the names of your Federal and State representatives.
  6. Scroll down to the "Georgia General Assembly" listing for your Senate and House District numbers and the names of your State Representative and Senator.
  7. Complete the form below and click the "send" button to submit this information to Dave Beem, Treasurer, Georgia Local Section. You can cut and paste your data to this form from the PVS page displayed in the other window.
